INTEOS® UNIVERSAL SYSTEMS

INTEOS® Universal Systems
In a world where fractures are becoming increasingly complicated and patients’ functional demands have risen, implant solutions have evolved to keep up with the mounting challenges trauma surgeons have come to face.
Today's trauma surgeons are no longer the generalists they once were, but highly specialized experts who focus on a particular anatomical region or specific fracture-related complications.
All of this notwithstanding, there will always be a use for straightforward but versatile implants allowing a surgeon to go ‘back to basics’ and devise a solution to match the specifics of an individual case. For this reason, Hofer offers its universal systems.
INTEOS® Straight plate Systems

Hofer Medical solutions’ version of a small fragment set, consisting of HS GP 3.5 dynamic compression plates and HDRS 3.51/3rd tubular plates. Equipped with options for standard cortical screw fixation as well as VA-locking capabilities in each individual plate hole, this system offers the versatility to create tailor-made solutions when needed.
INTEOS® HSN-esin System

Hofer’s elastic sliding nail portfolio is indicated for the intramedullary treatment of long bone shaft fractures in children and adolescents with open epiphyseal plates, as well as upper extremity shaft fractures in adults. When used in paediatric lower extremity fractures, a weight limit of 50Kg is to be respected. Fixation stability reaches its peak when the nails are used in pre-bent pairs, making three-point intramedullary cortical contact (fracture zone and proximal and distal metaphyses).
OSTYS® Cannulated screws

Hofer’s offering for compression and fixation of small fracture fragments or fractures in small bones.
Screw head to minimize soft tissue irritation, optionally retractable or combined with various washers in osteoporotic or osteopenic bone for maximum compression
